1.What makes a mobile comics?
Some of the things that will make a good comics will be:
- Colour does makes it looks attractive
- Minimum text makes it more readable on mobile phone
- Good story telling is the most challenging criteria to get everyone's attention.

2.Why is mobile phone a good medium for comics?
- You can read it anytime, anywhere
- Growing trend of subscribers of mobile comics. E.g. in China, 10x growth within 12 months in 2006
- All issues can be received by fans as it is a digital product.

3. Must the comics be in digital format?
Yes, you must submit your comics in digital format. If you draw on paper, simply scan the picture and email to us.

Just ensure that you save it as jpeg or png format and that each frame is 352 by 416pixels.

4. How do I submit my digital comics?
You can either
a. Download ComiStudio from our website. Use it to upload.
b. Email your entries with you ComiMember UserID, the ID that you use to register to comiasia.com

5. Can I draw 2 comics frames for the comics category?
Yes, we encourage everyone to draw 4 frames and more, but if you are confident that your 2 frames tells a good story, feel free to submit it.

9. Your size 352 by 416 is portrait, but I will prefer to draw my content in landscape. What should I do?
We propose that you draw in portrait because if we made your landscape content into a mobile phone format, you will waste some valuable space.

10. What language do I have?
English or Chinese.

11. What do you mean by comics relating to Media Literacy?
It means you can draw a comics or wallpaper that educates the public on the importance of respecting content owners like you.
E.g. Stop Piracy, Piracy kills the media industry, Respect for Copyright leads to rich content owners..

12. How are you being judge?
Our purpose of organizing this contest is to find an aspiring comics artists who draw comics which will one day be popular. Thus, it is based on votes.

13. What do you mean by mobile publishing?
It means that we will optimized and compress your digital comics into different files so that it can be readable by different handsets.

14. I am below 18, can I submit?
Yes, when you win the contest, we will then get your guidance to sign off an agreement to produce your content.
